Hello~~~~Happy Mother's Day to everyone!
I'm home alone today. Hubby is working at Home Depot(am I lucky, or what!) And the kids are all home enjoying their families. I received cards, roses, and wishes yesterday. I'm rather enjoying being here on such a beautiful, yet chilly, day. I can do whatever I please. Can you guess what I'll be doing? First I went to church(hubby was able to attend with me). Then came home to start laundry. Have to hang the sheets on the line...mmmmm...LOVE doing that. Then sat down to blog. After finishing this, I'll be painting the chairs that didn't get painted yesterday. Yes!! painting. I'm obsessed, I know.
As you can see...the picture above shows the frames I bought from my friend, Debbie. Remember..the one that goes to Florida looking for things to bring back to me???
The large yellowish one had wonderful detail on it. As did all the frames Debbie brought back.
I like how it turned out. It looks very nice next to the linen color on the wall.
I've had this basket made from a vintage ceiling tile. Last year it was filled with hydrangea's. They dried right in the basket. I love the peeling paint, and the gorgeous blue underneath!
The basket alone looked kind of blah, but after adding the frame.....it popped!
