From bare, to beaded

Good morning lovelies~~~~finally...a sunny morning here at the lakehouse. Feels good.
Yesterday while shopping at a thrift store, I found those crystals I showed you yesterday. I wanted the lamp over the table to have a more "shabby" look, so I went to work stringing the crystals, and drops together.
Now.... I know this doesn't look like a real chandelier....but it's as close as I could get with what I have. Originally the lamp was black. Hubby painted it white for me a while back. I liked the look with all the other white in the room...but wanted that "shabby-beaded" look.

For me....it's okay. The crystals really sparkle, and I just love the beading and drops. Again...it's not French, or Italian....it's Lakehouse.
Go over to Domestically Speaking today for a chance at a $60 gift certificate from CSN stores. Plus, you'll see a great little blog.
I'm also joining in Between Naps on the Porch for Metamorphosis Monday...Susan is such a sweetie for hosting this event every week. I think Laurie from Heaven's Walk should put her outhouse transformation in there!!! Check that out today also.
Have some linens to hang out on the line this morning, so I'd better go.
Enjoy your Monday!
