Still changing things

Good morning!
We have a cloudy day here at the lakehouse. I'm not complaining...this has been an exceptionally beautiful Fall.
I'm still making changes in the living room.
We took the grandfather clock down to my youngest daughter's house over the weekend.
We also gave her our wing back chair.
They are pieces I've had forever, and Melissa (being a single mom, working to make a home for her and the two girls) needed a couple of pieces to "cozy" up her living room.
Consequently, there were open spaces left in my living room. I pulled in some more vintage pieces, and another one of my desks.(I have a thing for vintage desks.) I am somewhat of a clutter-bug, so I tend to fill rooms up with "stuff".

I hope this will be it for awhile. Now maybe I can sit and relax, instead of move furniture around.

I did add some beads to the chandy in the room..and I like how it looks. Am still looking for more drops, and baubles...always adding something to something around here.

Time for work.
Hope you enjoy your Monday!
Debbie

  3. Your rooms are inspirational. I love the white look and have been tempted to do something like that here, but it would mean a major overhaul and I'm not up to that so will just admire yours. I hope your Monday is a great one!

  9. Hi Debbie
I love white wicker, and your desk and chair are so beautiful! I also love your chandelier, you can never have too much bling on one! And I am sure that you will never be "done", as there will always be more projects and ideas you will come up with! :)

  10. Hi Debbie, Your living room in just wonderful! I have been donating furniture and extra stuff to my oldest son who lost everything when he left his ex-wife, so I understand moving the pieces to where they are needed most. :)
The sad part is that you can't tell anything is missing, because I have a lot of stuff! LOL
Hope you got some rain out of your clouds- we didn't, yet.
    Hugs- Tete

  11. Debbie- Your living room is beautiful. Isn't it wonderful to be able to give your children something that you have loved...and know how much they appreciate it? The desk I am typing on right now is going to my son and dil as soon as their house is finished. It is a wonderful, old Mission style piece that I have had for many years.

I'll bet your daughter was just thrilled to get those pieces...and not only because she needed furniture but because they belonged to you.

Have a great day/evening(?) at work! I am in the middle of my 6 in a row. Today was awful...tomorrow will be better. Hugs- Diana
