Great reports!!!

I've been walking around the house this afternoon. Noticing everything with new eyes.
The air is cold and still, yet the snowflakes tumble down, lazily...resting on a bed of white. It's so quiet.
I can hear only the sound of God's voice.
I wondered what the purpose for this whole situation was....and He said, "I had everything under control".
"What if you hadn't started to bleed? What if the cancer was not found?  No one would have known about the intestines being so thin. They would have ruptured, and you could have died." "The cancer was just the beginning of your journey." "You still have a ways to travel, but I will be with you all the way through."

Have you ever heard His voice in an almost audible tone?  The quieter it is, the louder He gets!
The doctor's final reports were awesome! The cancer hadn't penetrated too far into the uterine wall, so radiation isn't necessary...Praise God!  The intestines are healing where the section was removed...tomorrow I start decreasing the meds. What seemed like an eternity, is now just a few short weeks.  I still need a pelvic every six months, and chest xrays, and CT scans twice a year. My body is healing, and I feel will respond even faster now that we got the great news!!!
Thank you for all of the prayers said on my behalf.
I am grateful to everyone of you here in blogland.
I ask God to bless you as much as you have blessed me.
Much love,
Debbie

  7. Praise God and bless your heart. He touched you for a reason and healed your body. He is not finished with you yet and you are not finished in His work. Your testimony will reach great numbers and give courage where it is hard to find, for you have been there and walked in footsteps only you can understand.
He is in the plan and everything happens for a reason. I am glad everything was caught before something really bad happened. You go girl! Doing the happy dance here!

  15. My eyes are welling up too! I have been watching, waiting and praying for you also. I am so glad the reports came back with such good news. Praise the Lord! It never ceases to amaze me how we can come to feel about those who share themselves with us through their blogs. I have not commented before as I often don't feel that I have anything worthy of writing, but I just had to let you know how happy I am for you and your family, and to tell you how blessed that I feel each time I read your messages and share in the photos of your lovely lakehouse home. Thank you ;-)
I also wanted to say that I can somewhat understand what you have been going through. In my twenties, I had an ovarian tumor. In my thirties, early stage cervical cancer. In my forties, a horrible health issue that required major abdominal surgery with the worst pain and longest most difficult recovery...so very scary. Now that I am in my mid-fifties, I keep expecting something else to bring me to my knees again. I am guessing there is some reason for my still being here that He has yet to reveal. Anyway, being on one's knees is probably the best place to be in crisis, don't you agree? Well, I didn't mean to write a book, I just want you to know there is another out here praying for your continued recovery and health. Take care, and take it easy, dear one. Sent with big hugs, --Leslie (also a CPhT, when I can work ;-)

  39. Debbie that is amazing and I am so happy!!! He is so good to us even in times when we feel lost! I know what you mean about hearing His voice, after I had open heart surgery I heard Him in the silence of my being. I was so happy to be alive and felt blessings from everywhere! He knew what I needed and when and guided me every step of the way. Blessings to you and your family and I hope that this summer I can meet you and hug you if Laurie, you and myself are able to meet up for the big flea market in Allegan!! Love to you and I so happy for the great news!!!
