Moving things around a bit.

Woa.....is it hot or what??!!
Mr. Lakehouse...being the brainiac that he is...decided to build a campfire to roast hot dogs.
Hello!!!!!! it's almost 100 degrees outside!!!
I've been inside ALL day because the Crohn's Disease decided to give me problems. It started last night.
It's almost 7:00pm, and I'm just starting to feel a little better.
That means NO hot dogs for me...just clear liquids for a few days.

I moved a few things around the other day. Keeps it feeling "fresh" in here.
The hutch in the dining room had to be moved, because I needed the corner for my Heartland stove.

The flea market birdcage got a new place to rest. I also added a few vintage cups to the inside.

I hope you had a nice weekend.
We are supposed to get even hotter temps. for the week.
That's okay though....It was a crummy spring.
I love seeing all the flowers dancing in the sun this time of year, don't you?
Enjoy your evening.
Debbie

  9. We have campfires all season, even when it is very, very hot! Our solution...one of our neighbors hooks up his very large industrial fan! All the ambiance without the heat!

I enjoyed strolling through your gardens this morning too! Have a great week!!

  10. YOur hubby sounds like my son! Last year he had fires when it was 95+ all summer long. Yep, I through him up into the ceiling fan one too many times when he was little...LOL
Love all your pretty things and it's fun to move things around for a new look.
Sorry you had a crappy day...been having trouble with my IBS and have a sinus and sore throat thing going on. Been hanging out with the pollen as much as possible!
Will be stuck inside all week with the heat advisories.:(
Oh well, fall is coming soon enough- the summer is just flying by!

  13. Did Mr Brainiac have one too many Lichtensteins (or whatever they're called)...??? lol! Just sayin..... Now, about your (my) birdcage...you KNOW that if you just can not find a place for it and don't know what to do with it....I just may have a home for it. hehe! I pray that you're back on your feet soon .... so that you can eat some of those nice, hot, roasted hotdogs out in the 100 degree heat! bwahahaha!
