January thaw cleaning.

This has been a mild winter here at the Lakehouse so far. With the sunshine, and warmer temps.
I've been in the mood for a little spring cleaning.

I decided to put all of the ironstone on the farmhouse cupboard, along with the
larger Mason Jars that were on the window sills.

The vintage tea pots, and cups were moved to the hutch.
Instead of the locker baskets of linens sitting on
chairs, they are all together on the bottom
shelf of the hutch.

It keeps everything all together when needed.

I doubt this mild weather will last much longer.
So, when the cold and snow finally get here...at least the house
will be clean.
It's been quite a while since I've joined a party...but I will be joining Faded Charm for White Wednesday.

Enjoy you the rest of the week, they keep telling me it is supposed to snow Thursday. :)

  2. I'm loving this warm weather, Debbie, but I keep wondering, where IS the snow?? lol!

It is a great time for a thorough cleaning now that Christmas is past history...I have been doing a little here and there but there's not much else to do except for a large cabinet filled with odds and ends that I have no other place for!

I love your ironstone collection and all the ball jars, they look so pretty just about anywhere. And your baskets of linens are so sweet, I never thought to display mine. You are a great inspiration!

    Enjoy your week!

    XO,
    Jane

  5. I love those blue jars - I've never seen ones in that design. And the locker baskets are to die for! I remember using ones just like that at the neighborhood pool when I was a kid. What a treasure!

  6. Hello Debbie! It's been way too long since I've visited your gorgeous blog:) Everything looks so lovely and I love how you've got your linens displayed in the wire baskets...I may have to steal that idea!!! I've been wondering how to display mine but yet still have them handy...I'm new at collecting so I don't have that much yet.

Anyway, happy belated New Year Debbie!!!
