Phloofing outside

It was such a beautiful day here at the Lakehouse, I decided to spend it outside...phloofing my head off.
I know I already showed you the patio furniture with the quilts on it. Today I took the quilts off to wash them. This is how the furniture looks without the covers on...euwww.
I moved the furniture around, and I kind of like it this way better.

I found these pillows that match for when the kids are up, and I prefer NOT to have the light colored quilts on the furniture.
Popsicles, suckers, fruit juice, and chocolate bars just don't work well for me.

I dug out more aqua planters today.

It feels a little cozier with the chairs facing the settee, yet you can still watch the boats go by.

Mr. Lakehouse made the simple little arbor I asked him to make for the rose bushes I recently bought.
I didn't ask for anything large, or fancy...just some cedar, and lattice.
I wanted to hang the little chandy in it....

I even phloofed my rock garden, and added a few primrose.
It's back to work at the pharmacy tomorrow.
I look forward to Friday, as I have the whole weekend off!
Enjoy the rest of the week everyone!
Thank you for stopping by.

  3. Debbie -It looks great! I have things that I put away when THE KIDS arrive, too. They don't use my little white sitting room at all...unless they are inspected clean! lol Other than that I am pretty easy going.

Yeah- gotta agree- I am not crazy about the color of those cushions...lol..but I LOVE the set! And, I'd say Mr.Lakehouse did an amazing job building you that arbor. He is pretty handy. Maybe MyHero can take a few lessons from him?

Hope you have a good week at work and I am glad you have the whole weekend off- xo Diana

  5. Looks scrumptious! My husband would just drool to live on the water!

I gotta ask, because it's always an issue here - what do you do with all the cushions every night? We leave ours in the cabana, but then so many times we don't sit out because no one wants to drag out all the cushions!!! BUT the one time I left them out for a few days because I knew it wasn't going to rain, a squirrel made holes in nearly all of them!!!!!!

Thanks for sharing your lovely space and I can't wait to hear what you do to enjoy your cushions and still keep them safe and dry!
