This and That....

Wow....now I know what a sloth feels like.
I've been movin' mighty slow today.
I didn't get dressed until almost 3:00 this afternoon.
That was after the time change, so it was actually 4:00!!

The only reason I changed into some clothes was because I didn't want the neighbors to see me in my pink leopard print flannel pj's that late in the day.  AND, since my hair is long and curly. I figured it was time I brushed it so people didn't think I was channeling Bob Marley this weekend.

If the dogs had larger bladders, I could have waited until it got dark to let them out...but with the time change, they made it impossible. I didn't want to look like an escapee from the sanitarium, so I dressed, and brushed myself.

Meh...I don't know why I worry so much....I've looked worse.

The mister is at deer camp.
A few days with a clean house!
I don't know about you, but I really enjoy a clean bathroom when he's out in the woods.
Don't misunderstand.....I love the man, I do.
The only complaint I have is, when he's home....it's like living at deer camp 365 days a year!

It's like there's a herd of him!
How one man can carry in that much dirt.....it renders me speechless.
The only answer I've found is Xanax.

I'm not liking this time change.
I keep looking at the clock, and it doesn't seem like the right time. ugh.
Isn't it funny how just one hour can make such a difference to some people....weird people like me.

Well, I guess I should let the dogs out again. Now that it's getting dark again. After that, I'll put my pj's on, and relax. It's been such a busy day, ya know?
Have a great week!!

  1. That's the kind of day I had! I do not own anything leopard print at all, though. So, your're one of those crazy old ladies, HUH?
LOL- Silly girl, I hate the time change, too. Its dark. So dark out now. There is no day left at all. Makes the nights too long...

  2. Hey, nothing wrong with a PJ Day, Debbie! I envy you! lol I was wide awake at 7am (stupid time change) and raring to go by 9am. I blew leaves from 9am - 4pm!!! Yeah. We have that many leaves. SO many that when Rog came home from the cabin, he hauled out the big old tractor and PLOWED piles of leaves into the woods! lol I'm exhausted. I need a PJ Day....but I don't see that happening any time soon. ;)

  3. Oh my...we have been touching base all day...which goes to show that I have had nothing but time to be on my laptop all day!! This post made me laugh. I always remember my mother saying, "Leave the bathroom better than when you went in." My children and hubs just don't get that and I swear I can be taking a shower and organize the shampoo and soaps and razors all at the same time!!!

Ahhhh...now if I could just get my hands on some Xanax!

    XO,
    Jane

  4. We all need a day like that once in a while! And this stupid time change drives me crazy. I like having daylight earlier in the morning but I hate the long dark nights. Time to turn lots of lights on inside otherwise I behave like a bird and fall asleep when it gets dark! I NEED sunshine!!!! Hope you had a nice day!

  5. Debbie- You just had a PJDAY! Everyone needs one of those once in a while-which reminds me I can' remember the last time I had one! I hear you- I love it when MyHero has to go somewhere for a day-or two- or three. I love having the house to myself and having it stay CLEAN and NEAT for just a day or two anyway. lol 'Course I would miss him if he was gone too long. lol Yep- I get it! xo Diana

  6. Beautiful pics! I'm not a fan of the time changes either, I think they should stop doing that and just let things be! It's hard to adjust... Have a great week:@)

  7. hehehe I know what you mean .... when my husband is home I can't believe how much mess there is from one person ...but like you I wouldn't want it any other way ! sometimes it's nice to have a pyjama day ...nice and relaxing ....love your photos and LOVE your header with the silver/grey pumpkins !!!! Didn't know you altered the time as we do ...I feel it takes a few weeks to reset our internal clocks..I hate the dark nights but love the light mornings ...maybe we would naturally hibernate hehehe !

  12. You are such a stitch, Debbie! Sounds like you are having too much fun alone. I would have just kept my pjs on all day and into the night, if I were you:) Let the neighbors think what they want!
