Dance Recital weekend.

I spent the weekend down state with my daughter Erin, and her family.
Zoey and Sadie had their dance recital Sunday afternoon.
These two little girls bring tears to my eyes, and a smile to my heart.

This is Zoey.
She is in the third grade.

Zoey is in a tumbling class.
They did a routine to Ninja Turtles.

Sadie is four years old.
Her class danced to Ghost Busters.

The girls did a wonderful job!
It's always a fun day to watch them perform.
We went to Red Robin to celebrate, and my son in law, Tony, bought lunch.
It all went by too quickly.
It's exciting to see the girls grow, and learn....yet I wish they could stay this age for more than just a year.  They are so loving, and fun to be around. I hate having to leave them to make the drive back north.
Thankfully I have these wonderful images to save these times to memory.
Have a good week everyone!

  3. You do have some beautiful granddaughters. Glad you got to go see them. They do grow up way too fast. I thought we were to have a wet start to the week but so far we've had more wind than anything. Hope you have a good week too !

  4. Gosh this takes me back to my childhood. I remember participating in dance recitals for years. I loved it so much. I was hoping to have at least one girl so I could get to do that with my daughter but it didn't happen. You are lucky to get to see your granddaughters do that. Such a fun time!

  5. Debbie,
I was here earlier, typed my comment hit the publish button and my internet cable went out!!! So I'm back to try again.
Yes I totally know what you mean about precious grands growing up so quick and trying to slow down and savor each and every precious memory. Your Grand daughters are so sweet and lovely. Your post is delightful and reads with your pride coming through in each and every word. Cute ideas for the routines. The photos of the girls holding the flowers captured the pride they experienced in their dance recital. Debbie thank you so much for sharing a precious day with us.
    xoxo,
    Vera

  6. Awwww, what gorgeous girlies they are! You must be so proud of them:) I love their names too, Sadie was one of my girl names. Being that I have all boys, I do hope that someday I have a grand daughter (or 2 or 3 or 4!).

I was able to find a little chandelier for my dollhouse like the one you have in your miniature garden, it fits perfectly in my tiny house:) Hope you're having a good week!

  7. Hi Debbie, it's me again! Just doing a little test. Some of the blogs I visit, for some reason my comments won't go through to their email, I get it bounced back to my email so I switched my blog email from Yahoo to Gmail to see if that makes a difference.

  8. The girls are so cute, Debbie! Zoey is just the picture of you:) I bet you all were so proud of them. I love Red Robin. I always get the exact same thing every time, their teryaki chicken burger. It's so good, I've never tried anything else!
