What have you changed in the past year?
Or, what changes have you experienced in the past few months?
Have you completely redone a room in your home? Like the kitchen, or bathroom?
Did you get new furniture, or new slipcovers?
How about different light fixtures?
Have you completely gone through your home, and changed your style? Gone from Primitives to Shabby Chic? (that took me over a year to do. It kind of evolved over two years).
Have you had a major change in a relationship in the past year?
Maybe a health issue....I can relate to that.
How about your job situation?
We all experience change...some good, some not so much. It can be a positive experience, but sometimes it leaves us feeling sad, and depressed. When we feel a loss, it can be overwhelming. It's nice that when bloggers share their feelings of sadness, others gather around and offer support.
What's also nice...when bloggers share the positive changes in their lives, others are also there to share positive reinforcement, encouragement, and blessings.
I am grateful that when I experience change of any kind, whether good, or bad....you guys are always here to bless me with a kind word.
I just felt like saying thank you today.
Beautiful pictures and yes blogers help each other that's what so good about it. Have a nice evening.

Beautifully said, Debbie! You know that I have had a lot of changes over the past year...some good...some not so good. There are times when it seems we sail through life and are doing great and then that can change in the blink of an eye. Some changes are good and easy to accept-a redone room, finding a special "piece" that you have looked for forever. Other changes are NOT so good- health issues, seeing changes in others that we did not anticipate, making big life-altering changes.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great, thought-provoking post today, Debbie. Love to you- xo Diana
Debbie, I love this post!! There have been alot of changes over the last year in our lives!! Our grandson was born 8 months ago, we are building a house and will be moving into it October 1st, I got a raise, and John switched jobs. I think that is it for now-that really is enough isn't it-LOL!!! Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI love this post, Debbie! It really made me think of all the changes that have occurred in my life recently...thankfully, most have been positive. Thinking of them makes us grateful and blessed. I know how fast things can change so it's so important to live in the moment.

Wonderful post sweetie. It is so nice to share our changes with each other, to gather support, comfort and even laughter. I have had some changes over the last year and at the time I didn't like them but now I embrace them and love them. There are still challenges but it helps me grow.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are thawing out up there and you enjoy your weekend!!

Hi Debbie,
ReplyDeleteYour post has touched my heart. You are so sweet and kind and heaven knows that you have had some changes in your life lately. Makes me think of all the things that I have to be thankful for. One of those things is the wonderful friendships made here in our world of blogging. I always smile to myself when someone asks, "what is a blog?" Only we bloggers know what it really is.

Well, you're welcome, Debbie. You're a lovely person who speaks from the heart and we all love you. Yep, I've been through a lot of changes this year...decorating, renovating two bathrooms, and getting my hubby's plumbing fixed. Yes, that's what I said. :) It's all good.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, You know part of what I went thru with my daughter's health. So you know I feel blessed that she is doing great. She is not wearing the wigs any more, her hair has grown back, about 2 inches:):)You are right about the people out there(blogland)...so many caring, loving souls. Love you sweet Debbie, Smiles, Susie

Yes, I've had some major changes this year. And I'm still experiencing depression and problems from it. But maybe once things finally start to settle down, so will I. Isn't it wonderful how Blog Land gathers the wagons round?

ReplyDeleteI am so happy to be part of blogging!
So sweet! Yes, big changes, God blessed me with my first grandson who looks just like his daddy as a baby so it's nice to hold him and think back to those days in the 70's! My white kitchen is the best thing this year to happen as far as decorating goes and so far everyone is in good health.
ReplyDeleteI love blogging and there isn't a day that goes by that I appreciate my blogging friends!
Having a beautiful sunny day here in Pa. hope you are too!
