There's no place like home.

I'm home.
I've been away for ten days.
My oldest daughter and her husband went to Mexico for their 10 year anniversary, so I took care of their three children.
It was a looooong ten days.
As you can see, I have this pretty jelly jar lid which I received from Sandi at A Cottage Muse.
I thought it would be a nice design, and pretty colors for my bedroom.

On my way downstate, I stopped and bought Rachel Ashwell's Shabby Chic quilt and pillow shams from Target. I also picked up the round pillow, and a set of Shabby Chic sheets.

I have the ruffled sheet sets, and also a set of the pink roses. Love them all!
This time I purchased the embroidered set of sheets.

I usually decorate with all whites.
Lately, I'm using more pinks, and roses.
I love the romantic look of the roses, and ruffles.
Since growing roses this summer, I seem to want them inside more and more.

I love the reverse side of the quilt as much as the top!


I opened the curtains today, and let the breeze carry the wonderful fragrance of the roses, under the bedroom window, into the room...mmmmmm.
It's true when Dorothy said....."There's no place like home".

    So pretty pretty pretty, Debbie!!! That round pillow is awesome! Don't you just love SSC sheets? They're wonderfully crisp and the corners are nice and deep. I think that summertime always encourages us to bring a bit more pastels and roses into our homes. We're just bringin' the outside in! :) So glad that you're safely back at home again! ♥

    So true, Debbie! I bet you are tired! I am in love with your pretty bedding! That round pillow is beautiful. Sounds like I need to head on over to Target (or "Tar-jay", as I like to call it!). Love the painted vintage Mason jar lid. What a thoughtful gift!

    Well. I wondered where you were and then remembered you had said something about babysitting. Glad it went okay but I know that you are glad to be home. It takes a lot to take care of three, doesn't it?

    I am so glad that you got some more RA bedding. I love it, too. YOU are the one that got me started on it. I love the touch of roses in your home. You LOOK like a rose loving lady to me.

    Hello ! I'm loving that bedding !! I think it's nice to have a change with some florals and a bit of colour sometimes ..looks very summery..think I can smell those roses ! Happy midsummer ! Gail x

    So glad you survived! What a beautiful bedroom and love the bedding. I don't think DH would go for pink, I have to sneak things in like that. Our bedroom has blue roses, so that's close.

    Looking at those sheets and that pillow and duvet makes me want to get them too! I love that pillow~its all so pretty. I have the blue hydrangea pattern of hers from Target and I love it. The more you wash it the better it gets, but I haven't tried her sheets...so maybe its time for some mix and match ~

    Beautiful bedding!! I have the blue floral Rachel Ashwell's Shabby Chic quilt and pillow shams from Target. It was in our guest bedroom, but right now it is put away since our youngest had to move back home.

    I have always loved the Shabby Chic line at Target but my husband thinks it is too girly. Maybe for a guest room but then I'd always be jealous!
