Hello everyone!
It feels good to be here.
Seems like forever since I've blogged about something other than my health issues.
Having all this time off to think about things, I came to a decision.
I've missed my shop so much, I decided to start again....on a much smaller scale.
My friend that got me started years ago, has a huge store with booths that you can rent. You set up your space like a little shop...and even have your name over the entrance. It's like little shops all in one big place!
Sandy has each space enclosed, with little windows and doorways....it looks like a village!! with fences and walkways!
So I will have a mini-shop.
My collection of vintage linens will be used for pillows, curtains, and chair pads. I'm ordering lavender soaps, dried buds, and dried bunches. Seashells will be incorporated throughout. Anything cottage, vintage, beachy, French, and farmhouse will be available. I will also have retail items. This gives me a good excuse to frequent the antique market with my sweet sis, Laurie, from Heaven's Walk.I hope to pick up a few things while on Sanibel Island, and maybe treasures from the flea markets in Florida.
May 1st will be the start date.
Seashells and Lavender will be the name.
I am so excited to get things together!
I will still be working at the pharmacy, which will help with finances concerning merchandise. After things get going, the store will support itself.
If you have any suggestions, or suppliers, would you let me know? I appreciate any help I can get.
So good to be back!!!
Thank you for all the encouraging words, prayers, cards, and gifts.Blogland is a special place.
I love you guys!
Debbie

Super! We all need something new from time to time, to bring back joy in life we may have lost due to health or other reasons. Wishing you much fun and success in your new adventures!
ReplyDeleteYour little shop sounds wonderful but how you'll do all this and work too is beyond me. We have a flea market nearby that has little stalls like you describe in it.
