It's a damp day, so no outside painting today.
I thought I would show you how far I am on the bakery I'm working on.
The floor is finished as of last night.
The cupboards are filling up nicely with merchandise, and baked goods.
Building up stock...have more cakes to bake, and breads in the ovens.
Cannot do much more until the walls are built, however...lol.
A roof will be nice, too.
These cookies are for the builders.
I hope they like chocolate....
I haven't decided on what color to paint the counter.....
Depends on the wall color.
I love this little sign for the outside, don't you?
Lots more work to be done.....
The mixer is on it's way. Hopefully I will find some sweet cupcakes for the bakery before it's ready to open. Still looking on Etsy for something just right.
Working with miniatures has become something that I've come to really enjoy.
I will post more as the shop progresses.
xxoo
OH MY GOSH Debbie!!! So cute! I LOVE this! All the little cakes and breads, the old tyme cash register, even the floor is pretty! Can't wait to see the mixer and the cup cakes when you find the right ones! So much fun!
ReplyDeleteHow sweet is this little bakery. Love all the elements to the room. Just adorable.
ReplyDeleteI cannot wait to see more of the shop.

What a delight to visit and be inspired by your little bakery, stunning.
ReplyDeleteThis is so great...love the details in it all..the floor is great...would love that in my kitchen. :0)
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, I went back thru some posts I have missed of yours. You are having fun. A sweet doll house. The bakery will be something to show us when you have it completed.
ReplyDeleteYes, I love the sound of children's laughter around the water. Just to hear them having fun makes me feel happy too. I can remember when I lived in town...if I open my bathroom window I could hear the children at the Catholic school playground squealing, laughing and yelling. To me it was always a good sound.
Hope you and your family are doing well. Stay healthy. Blessings to all, love you forever, xoxo, Susie
