I do not know how you guys do the pictures on blogger anymore.
I am finding it more and more frustrating each time I come here to post.
I lose half of the photos I want to show you, because of loading issues.
It used to seem so much easier, and made blogging fun.
Now I struggle with every post.
Anyway....The hoopla here has quieted down considerably since the 4th has passed.
Now will be the time to try and absorb the tragedy from the parade in Chicago.
Hopefully, we will put aside the political drama from the past few weeks, and focus on the circumstances before us.
There are families that planned on celebrating a holiday together, by attending a parade. An innocent enough idea.
Taking your kids downtown to watch people marching down the street, playing musical intruments....entertaining children and adults alike.
I'm sure there were little boys excited to see big red fire trucks, and little girls watching the baton twirlers!
The colors of red, white, and blue proudly displayed everywhere to commemorate our country's freedoms!
To have all of that shattered in a matter of seconds by a crazed person with no regard for human life is beyond my understanding.
Where do we go from here? Do we just sit and let the authorities take care of everything?
NO.....we pray.
We pray for the peace that transcends all understanding....for the families that lost loved ones. For the people that are recovering from wounds....physical, and emotional.
For the medical community that has to keep working with the injured, and their families.
For the spiritual leaders to help their congregations stay focused on God in these terrible times, and not to lose hope, because if we lose hope....we have nothing.
God does not cause the evil in men.
Men choose it for themselves.
It is God's will that none should perish.
Pray for wisdom, for understanding, and for love above all else.

Amen! So tragic. More God needed in young minds and less videos and other worldly corruption being embedded. More help for mental health. The Bible and teachings of our Savior will most definitely ward off evil. Prayers for these Families and our World. So sad that living in today's society we feel our freedoms are being taken away by evil, as each time going out..you have to wonder what is next.
ReplyDeleteIt seems no place is safe from tragedies like that any more. Still we can not let fear keep us away from enjoying life. God is with us every minute of evvery day and His angels do watch over us each step of the way. Enjoy life to the fullest the best you can!
ReplyDeleteThis happened so close to home for me. Terry knows a lot of the first responders and this was so tragic. There is a little 18 month old boy without a mom or dad. Makes my heart hurt for him and all the others that died and were injured that day. Innocent people going to a traditional parade in a very nice town to celebrate the 4th and then this happens. We are not safe anywhere anymore. Praying for all. xoxo Kris
ReplyDeleteThere is so much tragedy and evil around us that it's hard to comprehend. Prayer is a mighty tool God has gifted the church with to fight back against the schemes of the enemy. Now is the time to pray like never before. 🙏
ReplyDeleteI live just one hour or so from there it is so tragic and I wish things would change, this world is so unerving right now! more prayers and more acts of kindness.
ReplyDeleteAs far as blogging here, the formatting for the posts changed and it is very difficult trying to get the post to space correctly. I do at least 50-100 words separated by a picture. Frustrating to say the least. I hope you won't loose any more beautiful pictures.
Hello, Thank you for this post my dear. You are right.. I am praying with you.
