Good Saturday morning to everyone in Blogville.
It's snowy, blowy, and cold here at the lakehouse.
I really don't mind though...it gets me in the mood for Christmas music, and decorating.
Since hubby is still working on Man's Town, decorating will be slow around here. He has "stuff" everywhere! Hopefully he will finish up soon, and I will be able to go through and transform the lakehouse into a Christmas wonderland.
Put on your happy feet, and get something done that will get you in the Christmas spirit!

Snow really puts you in the holiday spirit. Its about 80 degrees here so doesn't feel like the holidays...but I guess I am used to it. Can't wait to see the lakehouse all dressed up for christmas.
ReplyDeleteMorning Debbie- I have always loved the old mercury glass too. I picked up some balls at Hobby Lobby on sale for $2.50 each. They had 6 and I took them all. I am such a ball hog! Maybe I would have been a good football player?
ReplyDeleteNo snow for us here yet...but I can feel it in the air..just a flake here and there. We are usually foot deep by now. The kids are off to get their Christmas tree today and MamasBoy & wife are moving into their new home as I type. It is truly a cottage and I hope they will let me take a few pictures.
I got my dining room floor 2nd coated with the wood conditioner/finish this morning so I can start to put my house back in order. I know what you mean about the "man jobs"...ours never end here. I hope to start draging out some Christmas when I get home from getting my hair cut. New salon chick-wish me luck!

ReplyDeleteI love mercury glass, too. I haven't been to Target lately but I have been seeing a lot of pretty ornaments form there in Blogland. The temptation to buy more than I need is so great in these kind of stores. I can't even go into Michael's!!

I just bought a few pieces of mercury glass, and I love them. Brrrr...to the weather. I hope we get a tad a snow ONCE this year.
