Missing my little ones.

Helloooooo......
I've been absent from blogging for a little bit.
I'm working more hours at the pharmacy lately...NOT liking that at all.
I LOVE my job, but don't want to work more than three days a week anymore.
Hopefully once they hire a couple more people, I will be back at three days a week again.
When I work more, I don't get to see these happy faces like I'd like to. Having one day off, then working a day or two, then one day off again, doesn't give me time to drive down to see my grandkids.

I usually have to ask for a weekend off to get two days in a row off.
I really miss the kids.
I get so down when I don't see them.

I went to the water park for one day, then to a couple of birthday parties...but that's about it.
Right after school let out, three granddaughters came up for about four days...that was wonderful!!!
I'd like to go downstate and stay for a few days. Visiting each family for two or three days each.
School will be starting up again in just a few short weeks...so I'd better put in for some time off real soon.
I hope you are able to enjoy your families this summer.
Have a great weekend!!!

I've been catching up and I love your new kitchen and I have to tell you how absolutely gorgeous your gardens are. I'm trying really hard to not be jealous because your flowers are so beautiful.

  6. Doesn't that stink? They couldn't have done it in the winter when you are stuck inside and bored, no, let's mess up Debbie's summer time! I hope you get some time off soon. These last days of summer are speeding by!
This will be my first fall with no one in school...sigh*.
No school supply lists for us this year...I miss those the most.
They grow up so fast- get your self south soon!

  7. I understand what you mean about grandkids :) I get enough of them in the summer when we live where they live for five months. But the seven months we live in Florida get to be long...especially from January to May after they go home from visiting us in Florida for Christmas.

  8. You're SUCH a good grandma, Debbie! I can tell by your eyes in that sweet photo how much you love your little munchkins. ♥ They're blessed to have a nanna as loving as you are! :)

  9. I know exactly what you are going through, Debbie. I worked 5 days this last week and realized I had not talked to (or seen) the kids in all those days. They just brighten my day and put a smile in my heart- Just like yours do! Aren't we blessed! xo Diana

I love your blog and it seems as if we are kindred spirits with the gardening! I love my flowers, too! Glen Lake is 45 west of Traverse City. Looking forward to your next post about your Allegan trip and meeting up w/Michelle! hugs, Cathy
