It's one of those days...you know...one of those days when you don't feel like getting dressed.
You have laundry to do, but you are too lazy to even start the washer.
I usually make the bed as soon as I get up, but I didn't even do that this morning.
All I've done is eat a bowl of Special K, and play with candles.
Badness!!!
That's about it for today.
I guess I'll go blow the candles out, and make the bed now.
I hope I've been an inspiration to you all.
AAhahahahaha, yeah, right.
I would have loved to do that today but it was off to school for me. I am a teacher and Christmas is over.
ReplyDeleteWell that's not "all" you did, you gave us beautiful images to look at, and that's more important than laundry and bed making any day! :)

Beautiful pictures, they look so calm.

Debbie, I absolutely have days like that. When I want to just bum around the house, that's when Ted wants to do things. Sometimes, I think I need to sleep in my clothes with my make-up already on. LOL. I liked the long tapered candles . Your home is so pretty with the mirrors, lace and ruffles. Just relax and enjoy it while it's cold out.xoxo,Susie
ReplyDeletewell...your laziness made a pretty post! I still am in my pj's, have a darn cold.
ReplyDeleteLOL....Maybe it was the day for you inner arsonist to come out. You did a grand job of making pretty fire though! Love to you- xo Diana
ReplyDeleteI'm right there with you girlfriend! I did so much yesterday but today...meh, not so much:) Your pictures look so lovely and cozy!
ReplyDeleteOh YUMMYINESS.... everything is soooo pretty. Yes, I've had those days too...
ReplyDeleteBlessings,
Spencer
Debbie, I always like your photos - so dreamy and romantic.
ReplyDeleteWhen I have days like that - I just go back to bed for awhile. LOL!
You know, sometimes there's just days like that. You just have to grab some chocolate and go with the flow! Love those photos and the candles look so warm and cozy. Forget the bed, you're just going to have to crawl back in it sooner or later anyway. I hope you enjoyed your down time and you are always an inspiration to me, jammies or not. ;)
ReplyDeleteBut you had fun, and that is the most important part, right? I love your white wicker, and all of your beautiful candles & mirrors, too! Your mantel is amazing! Love your lamps, I don't recall seeing them before. See, you did accomplish alot, you entertained and inspired us!!
ReplyDeleteMy day was kind of like that today only it's sounds like you got more accomplished than I did!
ReplyDeleteIt is so very comforting to know that I am not alone in having days exactly like yours. I used to feel that I always needed to be doing something "constructive" - it has taken me quite awhile to realize that sometimes doing absolutely nothing is very constructive for my soul and well being. It's lovely to just putter around and find joy in the simple things. We all need our slow pjs & cereal days!
ReplyDeletePJs & cereal, what a way to go! Oh, and the candle thing...bravo!
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good day to me!
ReplyDeleteI love days like that and they are too far between. It's hard to let our selves just be in a contemplative, restful, mood, and not be driven to do, do, do... And look how pretty you made everything playing with candles. Your home looks so sweet and charming, and the lit tapers on the mantel are gorgeous all lit up...
