It's been so long.......
I must admit to you all.....IG has made it easier for me to see what everyone is up to.
I am still working at the pharmacy, and to be honest, I took the summer off from blogging to enjoy being outside in the gardens, and on the lake.
I don't know how you guys do it?!!!
Of course, I don't have a large following.....so keeping up a blog shouldn't be that difficult for me...lol.
I am just plain lazy.
The down side to IG is losing that personal contact that you have with blogging.
Then there are those that do both!!! and run businesses, and their households, etc.
Like I said....I am lazy.
My youngest daughter, Melissa and I did well with our booth.
This winter it will slow down, but we are looking forward to a busy spring and summer!
Bun Bun is bigger. He is still my little fuzz-butt, though.
He spent the summer months in his rabbit house and outside-attached cage area.
Now that it's colder, he is inside.
He is litter trained, which makes things so easy with him being inside.
I just wanted to do a post, and wish you all a very Merry Christmas!!!!I trust you are well, and happy.
Joy to you and your families!
Love,
Debbie

Hi Debbie, My dear friend, I have missed you. I am so glad you are enjoying your gardens and the lake....but don't tell me you are lazy...there's no way. When I see your lovely home and décor. ...well I just know better. What fun to run a booth with your daughter. I would truly love to do something so interesting with any of my daughters. I think my Kathy Jane would be more into that than any of the others. I love your mantle and the tree. I want to wish you and yours a blessed Christmas and a very Happy & Healthy New Year. Love you , xoxo, Susie
ReplyDeleteWell-WHEN did you start LYING? You are one of the LEAST LAZY people I know. I don't do much on IG. I know it is easy but, you are right, it does lack the personal back & forth you get with blogging. Just blog when and as you can and all your old followers will be right here!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas, dear Debbie!!! xo Diana
Debbie,
ReplyDeleteHello my sweet un-lazy friend! Blogging has changed and IG seems to beckon us all. I did a blog post last week.... I am posting on the 18th my Christmas presentation. I have been insanely busy with my writing and photographing my children's books. I prefer posting the scenes on IG because it gives instant comments and lets me know the course of the books direction. I find I also share more personally in IG posts... I will continue doing both but those who blog and have their blogs filled with advertisements I just do not visit anymore.
Debbie your lake house is gorgeous and feels like your heart is home for the holidays in creating a magical and welcoming home for family and friends.
See you in both Blogland and IG land my friend.
Sending love,
Vera
SO happy to see a post from you. Wishing you a very Merry Christmas. Love you sweetie!!
ReplyDeleteI have loved seeing you on IG, and really, don't take it seriously, it's just for fun! I felt your absence but I haven't been too great in visiting blogs so I wasn't sure. So hard to just write posts. Your job and your shop...that's hard.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, your home is spectacular and even more so with your pretty Christmas decorations. It was made for it or at least they blend seamlessly as they are a little feminine and shabby!
Love and Happy Holidays to you, my longtime friend!

Good Morning Debbie
ReplyDeleteWhat fun to see a post from you. Love your beautiful Christmas decorations. Good for you, just enjoying your garden and taking the summer off. Hope your Christmas is amazing
love deezie
Looks like you are not entirely lazy as your home looks very Christmassy there. It's always good to see a post from you and I wish you a very Merry Christmas and much happiness in the New Year too.
ReplyDeleteIt's so nice seeing a blog post from you Debbie and the lovely photo's of your gorgeous home, all dressed up for Christmas! Yes, IG does make it difficult to get motivated to put a blog post up...if you think you've been lazy, I've definitely got you beat there!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the little white table in the 2nd pic down, gorgeous piece! I hope you're enjoying these last days before the big day! I sent you a Christmas card, hope it makes it there on time. Hugs!
Merry Christmas! What a pretty post! Love your gorgeous mantel in white.
ReplyDeleteSuch beauty!! Love your gorgeous decor! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie, my first thought was that your posts weren't showing in my feed but when I looked back, it was summer when you last posted. I feel the same in that FB and IG are so much quicker to keep connected although the personal contact is not there. I post and read other blogs pretty much once a week now - so many other things to be doing in life and I don't understand how some can blog every day.
ReplyDeleteIt was nice to see your Christmas decor and catch up.
Wishing you a Merry Christmas.
Merry Christmas, Debbie!
ReplyDeleteI can so relate to feeling lazy about blogging, hahaha! I rarely visit any blogs these days, but was happy to see your new post:) Your home is beautiful all decked out for Christmas. Wow, is it ever cold here! Lots of snow, with more in the forecast over the weekend. Pretty and festive looking, but I guess I'm not ready for such extremes yet! Have a wonderful Christmas!
Hi Debbie, Love your beautiful home for Christmas. It is just enchanting and magical. So cozy, warm and inviting. I see you are having some really cold weather and snow. Our family keeps us informed about Michigan. I remember the snow days too well growing up in Michigan.
ReplyDeleteThank for you sharing your beautiful home. So nice to keep up with you on Instagram. Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas. Blessings xoxo
Merry Christmas, Debbie! I agree, how do some of these ladies do it! I do not blog as much, but then no one seems to really read my post like they use to. But I miss reading some of the blogs, and here from friends like you that I have followed for years. Have a very Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy to see a post from you, i missed you a lot dear friend. Your home is fairy with the christmas decors. They are fabulous and very elegant. I wish you and your family a MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs Alessandra
Hello dear Debbie, so good to hear from you! There is so much that needs our attention, and no, laziness is not the problem {smiles} just an overload of information and commitments, lol. I have you on my blog list so whenever you post, I won't miss it :) I am glad to hear that you are doing well, and glad to hear that Bun Buns is doing great too. Many hugs to you today dear friend!
ReplyDeleteOh it all looks magical Debbie ! Happy Christmas !
