Soup for one

Hello everyone~~~I know I've shared these pics before, but am joining Susan for Tablescape Thursday again this week and wanted to show off my lovely soup cups.

I found these at a little shop that was closing it's doors. There were only the two cups and saucers, but I just couldn't resist.
The Chelsea Rose is the name under the label, from England. There are also numbers printed by hand on the cup bottoms.

I absolutely love the colors! The floral design is very delicate. The scallop edges, and two handles really add to the beauty of the bone china.

I know this isn't a "normal" tablescape...but so wanted to share these pretty pieces with all of you.
If you go over to Between Naps on the Porch, you will see MANY other wonderful pieces shared for Tablescape Thursday. A big thank you to Susan for hosting such a fun event.
Happy Thursday!

  3. Maybe it wasn't a "normal" table scape, but your staging of the bed, book and teacup is pure art. Made me want to crawl in, grab my book and drink some tea! Brilliantly done!
