It's quiet here at the lakehouse once again.
No more slamming doors.
No more running through the house, and up the stairs.
No more kids laughing.
And no more cookie crumbs.
The chocolate milk is gone, and the cookie jar is empty.
The popcorn is swept up, and the toys are put away.
I keep finding faux eggs in the strangest places....like on top of an old bottle on the window sill.
I just put the crayons and coloring books back in the drawer. The blocks are picked up and back under the bed.No sound, except for the washer and dryer humming.
Kayla has to cheer this afternoon at Rocket Football, so the kids left early this morning. We had a great time at Ethan's soccer game in Traverse City yesterday.
The changing colors on the trees was a beautiful sight on the trip there and back.
Anson entertained me with his silliness the entire trip!
Loud, and fun!!!!
Grampa put the fourwheeler away, and plugged the golf cart back in.
We are ready for the next visit.........
Sounds like you had a full and fun weekend Debbie-enjoy:@)
ReplyDeleteSounds like a lot of fun. When my niece's little ones visited a while ago, they crushed all my faux eggs and put them carefully back in the bowl. So funny that you keep finding them.
