Hello everyone.
We've had two showings here at the Lakehouse. No offers.
I've packed some things, hoping for the best.
I'm trying to stay positive about selling this place.
The results of the six month CT scans, and chest xrays came back good.
I can now start going once a year!
On my way home from the physical (6 month), I stopped at one of my favorite vintage shops.
I found this wonderful mirror!
It's all chippy, and worn...perfect for the shabby mantle at the old Lakehouse.
I'm having fun with the old chairs we re-did.
I put two of the extra chairs over by the fireplace for a cozy little corner in the dining room.
The next room I plan to do a little freshening up is one of the bathrooms.

Dear Debbie, Good news..I am happy for you. I know someone will buy the lakehouse and truly enjoy living there. It's so sweet and there's the gardens too. Yay! Another answered prayer, sis! I'm so glad that your test results came back so good! Love how you created that sweet little cozy corner by the fireplace. Perfect for the cold days we've been having. :) Love how you used that tin piece across the fireplace, too!

ReplyDeleteHi Debbie.....good news on your test results....Now just don't overdo with the house and moving....Our old house just got put on the market after delaying it for 15 months....We just couldn't get motivated to clean it out and throw out 26 years of stuff and the hassle of a garage sale and all the rest....and then in 2 days we found a contractor to completely gut it and re-model from inside to out....took out what we wanted and sold him the rest of the contents and in two weeks the house is almost ready to go....Listed last weekend with a realtor who claims he can sell it in a month....Sure he can.... :) I hear you about missing the kids and wanting to be closer...We would have moved back north to be near daughter and grandaughter but decided to stay in the South and God works in strange ways....We were going to buy a home on Long Beach Island in NJ.....that took the worst hit from the hurricane....our lifelong dream house would be no longer....
