A fun garland.

Good Saturday morning to you.

Just a short post today.
I'm headed out the door to pick up more bar towels.
I'm tearing them in strips to make garlands.
I saw them on Sissie's blog, and fell in love with them.

This one turned out really full.
I like it hanging on the little mantle in the bedroom.
It adds to the romantic feel in there.

I'm making some to use as valances for the sun porch windows.
They will be "less-full".
Thank you Sissie for inspiring me to make something for my home.
Something fun, and a little whimsical.

Do something nice for yourself today....buy something that will bring a smile to your face....even if it's just some lip gloss. Enjoy.

    Those are just gorgeous, Debbie. I did see those on Sissie's blog, too. Don't you just love Sissie? Where the heck do you get bar towels? Are they like the old homespun? Did you say do something nice for myself? I think you just gave me an okay to go buy a Starbucks!;>) xo Diana

    Is a bar towel those cotton towels that you buy in bunches from the dollar store???

    Debbie, I think some valances made like the garland will be very nice for your sun porch. A cute idea. My daughter Liz, did the Susan G. Komen race for the cure today in Indianapolis. Her big sister Angie and her daughter Lynzie went with her. She's doing well. We pray you are also. xoxo,Susie

    Oh Debbie, you're adding such sweet touches to your lake house,
    I'll be heading over to check out Sissie's next....
    Hope you're getting a bit warmer, Thursday we had a short 77, then
    the cold front blew thru, 60 mph winds & rain back down to very cold
    it was 33 on Friday! Gotta Love Michigan ~
