"A Party In Every Room In the House".
It was a beautiful day to be outside.
I didn't have to work today...yay!! So I went to the market, and picked up a few small pumpkins, and gourds for the window boxes on the porch.
We have this great mesh ribbon at the pharmacy this year. So I also stopped there to pick up a roll to use for decorating the porch for the Fall season.
We also carry a smaller width for making bows.
I dragged the potting bench onto the porch, and filled it with the usual Fall mums, and heirloom pumpkins that I love.
The little "Harvest Welcome" sign is tucked in the basket of annuals that are still blooming.
The window boxes are looking pretty sparse, but the little boo pumpkins, and other gourds help fill in for now.
Decorating the porch is a sure sign that Fall has arrived at the Lakehouse. I'm usually one of the last to give in to Summer coming to an end...sigh.

ReplyDeleteYour whole display says welcome, very nice. The mesh is popular here too and I have a few pieces of the large type but never know what to do with them.
ReplyDeleteI love all of the pumpkins and corn stalks you used together. Your front porch is all ready for Fall now!
ReplyDeleteDebbie, I have seen the sun today for a while...it's hiding at this moment but I am hoping for it's return. I want to take some photos while it's out. The sun makes me happy. Too many gloomy gray days make me blue. I like the way you decorated the porch. I love that nail keg. I think welcome signs are nice all year long too. Blessings to you and yours. xoxo, love, Susie

ReplyDeleteI had to scroll through this four times just to catch all the wonderful elements in your design, Debbie. You really do have a knack for creating beautiful vignettes. I love this and would be so honored if you'd come and share it at Every Room In The House. We're partying on the "Fall Porch" this month, and your delightful porch would be a wonderful addition.
