Brrrrrrr......another snowy day here at Lakehouse!
That didn't bother me today, though.
When Lisa, the mail lady, was at the door with three boxes, I was pleased as punch!
I've been waiting for the mason jar lamp for over the kitchen sink to arrive.
The pulleys, lamp, and bulbs all came at the same time!
I love the vintage cloth cord!
The Marconi bulb looks really neat inside the light fixture.
I'm happy with the way it looks next to the jars above the sink.
Another project crossed off the list of things to get done over the winter months.I started to paint the guest room....but it's taking forever!!! Maybe because I keep stopping!!! ugh.
It's one of those projects that I just can't stay focused on. Why is that???!!!
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
Debbie

Debbie,
ReplyDeleteI think your new pendant looks fantastic! I love green glass and the mason jars on the shelf brings special attention to your new light and your view of your back yard. Fabric cord - oh my yes! Years ago John and I were wandering around a flea market, ready to leave with no found treasures, I spotted a big spool with gold silk fabric wire wrapped around the spool. Well my heart beat so fast I almost passed out when the guy asked for a trival amount of money. The following day John went around and changed our cords to the fabric. It's always the little attention paid to details that brings beauty into our lives.
Happy Valentine's Day.
xoxo,
Vera

Love your new mason jar light. I thought about putting one in my kitchen, but I was unsure if it would be too much with my mason jar chandelier in my dining room.
ReplyDeleteHope you stay warm inside... We have more snow on the way here tonight.

ReplyDeleteOk, now, to get that room painted..... Put on some 70's rock music, place a plate of fudge on the table and tell yourself that you can have a piece of fudge every time one wall gets finished. :-) xo
