Helloooooooo!
Can you believe it's November 2nd??!!
I guess I can finally accept the fact that it's Fall.
I think Halloween made me realize Summer is really over.
I spent five days with my girls over the weekend.
We shopped Hobby Lobby, Pier 1 Imports, Target, Home Goods, and TJ Max.
I found a few little things for the house.
Mr. Lakehouse and I took a trip down to Ikea on Monday.
We found the jute rug we've been wanting for the dining room.
While at Home Goods, Melissa and I found this great pillow!I'm always a little behind "what's in" for your home. BUT...... I'm really loving the burlap pillows and covers right now. Everyone has probably moved on to something else, but I don't care....I like it.
My daughter Erin found this great stool for me at Target. She thought I'd like it because it looks "barn-ish" to her...LOL.
She was right, I do love the way it looks.
After returning to the lakehouse, I found a package in the mail from Evelyn and Rose.etsy.com. Susan embroidered this vintage towel for me as part of Sandi's give away, from A Cottage Muse. I was very happy to see the vintage towel, since I collect them....having our family initial on it makes it even more special.I love how it looks on the French table runner I bought from Tracy at French Larkspur months ago.
I was ready to return to the lakehouse, though. I was anxious to find places for my new treasures, and soooo excited to sleep in my own bed.
As a matter of fact, I'll be heading for bed shortly.
I hope you are enjoying your week!
Sweet dreams*******
I love that stool. I went to go look for it at our Target and it was not there. Cute pillow and great rug. You have been foofing up now haven't you? LOL!
ReplyDeleteYou really nabbed some sweet treasures, Debbie! That French body pitcher looks somewhat familiar.... hehehe! I'm so glad that you were able to spend a nice long weekend with your girls. You are such a blessing to them. ♥

I'm w/you...I so love burlap accessories and LOVE the postcard pillow (serious pillow envy!!!). Sadly, there's no Home Goods nearby for me :(
ReplyDeleteGreat finds...enjoy helping them settle into their new home.
Hi Debbie,
ReplyDeleteSo glad that you got to spend time with your family, that is awesome! I love all of your new finds, especially the postcard pillow! I follow Susan's gorgeous blog, that was so sweet of her to embroider the tea towel for you! We don't have Home Goods out here, I miss it! But, I am thrilled to hear that a Hobby Lobby just opened up about 45 minutes from here. Sounds like a road trip is in order! Oh, and I love your fab footstool from "Tar-jay"!!!
How nice that you got to see your ?family and take another shopping trip! Target, Home Goods, Pier 1? I'm so jealous...just kidding...well mostly ;) Ain't no such animals up here (as you know).
ReplyDeleteI love the postcard pillow and that enamel pitcher. The shape of the pitcher is so cool! Have fun arranging and rearranging. {{hugs}}
What lovely special things!! That jute rug is fabulous - the chair that sits on it is very pretty too!
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie,
ReplyDeleteI just got back from a spree at IKEA...we're doing lots of floofing over here, too! A whole makeover on our living room and a bathroom rennovation. That means everything is everywhere and nothing is in its place yet. Restore came by and picked up five of our old pieces of furniture to make room for the new...I went over to the Restore store to visit the oldies but goodies...just to see what they were worth these days :)
Hi Debbie, I'm with you on the pillows..I only just discovered them and love them to bits !! Your stool mmmm gorgeous! don't you just love Ikea...my husband hates it when I say " fancy a trip to Ikea"...hehehe ! He comes over all busy all of a sudden hehe ! what a nice towel you have there too...enjoy !

Really Target had that stool? I'm missing out by not stopping by there....love it! I love the jute rug too! Everything is just wonderful Deb!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy you had 5 whole days with your daughters and grandkids. That is so special! And to go shopping, of course! Love all of your goodies...I would have picked out the same things, I still love burlap and the rustic look. It blends so easily with almost any style. The stool is fabulous and I think I have the same pitcher from my one and only trip to IKEA!
ReplyDeleteWishing you a great weekend, Debbie!
XO,
Jane
Sorry I've not been by in a while, but always love to read your posts and see what is going on there at Lake House. As usual you have been up to something new there. How nice you got to spend such a fun time shopping with your daughters. I love doing some good retail therapy with mine too.
ReplyDeleteHi Debbie...sounds like a fun shopping spree!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the towel from Susan...so happy you like it!
Hello Debbie! Wow, you got some great treasures during your shopping spree. So glad to hear you enjoyed time with your family, too. Oh, I wish we had an Ikea nearby...what a great pitcher! And I love seeing your towel hanging up. It was such a pleasure to embroider that for you!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend,
- Susan

Hi Debbie, Looks like you had a pretty good time and found some pretty neat things. I like the pillow and the stool and your towel! Sandi sure has been generous! I'm still trying to hold onto summer...I just don't want cold and snow this year!
