The Robins have returned, and the Red winged Blackbirds are calling for mates.
Small flocks of Geese are flying north almost daily.
The ice in front of the dock has the familiar waffle pattern, a sure sign that Spring has arrived here at the Lakehouse.
We are still experiencing temperatures that fluctuate between freezing, and 60 degrees....but I am optimistic that will change soon.
It's crunch time for getting those last few projects finished on our winter "to do" list.
Since rain is in the forecast for tomorrow, I should be able to check one of the projects off.
But.....just in case it doesn't rain the entire day....I will take my new bike out for a ride....just for a little while.
Whatever the weather....have a Joyous Easter, and Happy Spring!!!Debbie

I hope you have a wonderful ride on your new bike! Yes, it's spring but like you we are freezing or temps in the 60's! The birds sing every morning too!
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear Spring has made up your way too. Our weather goes up and down too, but mostly it's been below normal temps for us. Our robins have returned and one has a nest in a bush right outside the front door. She puts up a chatter when ever I go out to get the mail. Happy Spring and a Blessed Easter !
ReplyDeleteI love your little vintage clock! Does it still work? I bought a really cute one several years ago but I think I ended up overwinding because it worked perfectly when I first got it then stopped:(
ReplyDeleteHooray for Spring! I need to get out on my bicycle more:) Hope you have a wonderful Easter weekend! BTW, I put a post up just over a week ago of a dollhouse I've been working on so stop by when you have time.
Happy Easter Debbie !

Debbie,
ReplyDeleteI always celebrate your words as I scroll down and delight in your photography. Yes for us too birds have returned. I had tears in my eyes when I spotted our Robin family return once again. New bike, fun, fun, fun! What color is it? We recently purchased our Grand Dane a new bike, he went with a BMX bike (go figure boys)! But he picked the prettiest cobalt blue color.
Bunny kisses and joyous Easter blessing to you and your family.
xoxo,
Vera

Our temp is supposed to be about 91 this weekend, hoping to be able to serve dinner outside Sunday! Praying you enjoy a beautiful and blessed Easter weekend! Hoping spring treats you well this year! Blessings, Cindy xoxo

ReplyDeleteWishing you a beautiful Easter filled with blessings,

Beautiful photos!! Looks like Spring has come up your way. We had our first tornado warning last night...not the way I want Spring to come in here.

Happy Easter Debbie!!
ReplyDeleteI like the colour of the dried hydrangea flowers and the vignette with the crosses. Like you our weather is roller coasting up in the 40s and dipping to freezing. I see signs on the weather network of an upward trend without the fall.
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter
A new bike sounds like fun. Happy Easter my dear friend. xo
ReplyDeleteIt's fun to have a new bike to ride! I have a new bike seat and need to try it out! Enjoy your weekend! I hope you have nice weather. Hugs, Diane
