Time to open the sun room!
That meant spending the morning cleaning, then moving furniture in and out of the room.
Out came the shells, and Summer signs.
I brought out the birdhouses, and other seasonal pieces for the hutch.
The table is ready for meals out on the porch.
The iron crib I bought fits perfect out on the porch for grandkids to sit on, and Summer time naps.
My favorite place to spend the Summer months...relaxing, reading, praying, visiting, watching the rain, watching the boats go by in the evenings, and listening to the frogs sing into the night.
Have a fun weekend!Debbie

Your sunroom is so pretty, Debbie! Looks like it's the perfect spot for your iron day bed. Love the birdcage on a pedestal (the wire one)!!! And your sea shell collection looks right at home in your lovely space. I would spend alot of time there, too!

ReplyDeleteHello. What a fun and refreshing thing to see the sun opened up and cleaned out for the joy of a new season! I heard a little quote from a lady that had a picture of rays of sunshine coming through a window and she called it, "spring shine"
ReplyDeleteJust let it shine and may be enjoy each moment of it!
Worked all this week outside and enjoyed every minute of it!
Hugs, Roxy xo
Hi Debbie, Life on the sun porch in the spring and summer has to be heaven on earth. Love all your special touches. Being by the water and enjoying days and nights making special memories. It doesn't get any better.
ReplyDeleteBlessings, CM
I would love a sunroom like this at the lake. I've been begging Louie for a screened in porch, but we can't swing it yet.
ReplyDeleteI adore your bunny.
Be sure to stop by my blog and read today's post. xo
Could there be any better sun-room with a view like yours?
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun place to spend your time spring cleaning, arranging, and listening to the beauty that speaks to you.
Beautifully Blessed Sunday to you.

Hi Debbie,
ReplyDeleteI love your beautiful sun room. I could spend hours in there just day dreaming and looking out over the water. You have it looking so lovely.

Hi Debbie ~ your sunroom is so cozy, love it!
ReplyDeleteLooks like my opening weekend will be a bit chilly at the campground (guess I'll have to snuggle 'roun the fire)!
You've arranged things in such a beautiful way. We love so many of the same things and living here in Florida we have a lanai that we enjoy year round. I decorate it with lots of beachy things but I could sure learn from you. I'm putting your blog in my list of favs so I won't miss your posts! Sweet hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteOhhhhh....what a gorgepus, romantic and relaxing space. The view is stunning. I love your cozy room and all the shabby chic details.
