Lots of flowers!

                                                                             Good morning!
We got lots of rain yesterday, which helped the flowers really explode this morning.
I hope you don't mind more pictures of my flowers again.
Most have reached their peek and will be starting to fade soon.

Hollyhocks are one of my favorites, and this pale pink is heavenly.

While I was with my grandchildren, the weeds got ahead of me. Today is my day off, so I will be outside cleaning up flower beds...and getting some sunshine as a bonus.
Have a wonderful day!!
Debbie

  3. Debbie, I love seeing your gardens. You do have some very pretty flowers. I can see that our flowers are fading too. Too much heat or water one. I truly am thinking of using fake flowers on my porch next year...it's been crazy trying to safe them. I also love your lady by the water. It's nice to see what people tuck away in their gardens. We are to have sunny days till Saturday evening. Wonderful !! Bless you my sweet friend, love, Susie

  4. Wow, a flower explosion is right! Everything looks so amazing! Is that water area a lake...derp, I guess that's why your blog name is Lakehouse lol:) Are you able to put rowboats or anything in it? Would love to live overlooking water like that!

  5. I love seeing your flowers in their happy phase! Things are getting a bit fried around here for us. We have had a bit of running after grandkids this summer too. We get exhausted and we don't even have any that are that small anymore. We will be taking them in smaller doses from now on I think! Haha! Glad to be back home and visitng a few blogs again. Your place is always lovely.

  15. I enjoyed seeing your flowers and the pale pink hollyhock is just gorgeous! They don't grow well here, bugs and rust ruin the leaves and buds.
This is the best time of summer when all our flowers are at their best!
    Happy gardening.

  16. I never say no to rain, and he is a prime example of what the rain man affored your garden nothing less then a big drink of water that has added growth and beauty.

All these gardens in blog land have me wanting to tear out my yard and grow some wild flowers that bloom and scent the yard as I am sure yours does.

I hope the rain inspired a beautiful creative day out of you.
We here are always hoping for a bit of rain more then a sprinkle now and then.

    Enjoy your weekend,
I am creating my crowns, and getting ready for the last of my orders.

    See You soon dear.

    Xx
    Fondly,

    Dore
