Hello everyone out there in blog-land!
I returned home at noon today. Went downstate to see my girls and their families.
It's a three hour drive, but soooo worth it. I thought I would show you why I don't mind the time it takes to get down there.
Can you guess what they are doing? Yep...playing Wii.
Madison(Maddie) is on the left.
Anson(Bubba) is next to his brother Ethan(Easy E) who had a soccer game earlier that day. It was windy and very cold sitting at the field watching him play.
Kayla(Schmayla) is to the right of her brother Ethan.
This little tootsie is Charlotte(Charlie). She is sister to Maddie.
How they focus playing Wii. Too bad homework doesn't hold this much interest.
Here we have Zoey(Schmoey). Kayla and Zoey only wear tutus....not jeans, shorts, or other skirts...just tutus. They are BEST friends. This is my newest little darlin' Sadie. She's too little for a nick-name...so we just call her Sadie for now. I could just bite her!! She's Zoey's little sister.
So there they are...all of my little stinker-butts. I cannot get enough of them! However, when it's time to head back to the lakehouse...I'm ready for a looooong nap. No wonder we had kids when we were young!!! whew.
Hope your weekend was as much fun as mine.
They are all gorgeous! Can't wait for the day to be a grandma. Sadie's chubby little cheeks are definitely smoochable!ReplyDelete
How adorable are they??? And they all look so much alike! Very cute kids! Mario Kart is fun! Glad you had fun:)ReplyDelete
What beautiful grandkids you have!! They are so adorable!! I would travel to see them too!ReplyDelete
How cute each and every one of them are!! I love their nicknames!! I can't wait to have grand kids of my own. I'll have to change my blog to Grandma's Journal!! ;-DReplyDelete
Debbie- They are adorable. I can tell you love being a grandmother as much as I do! Each one has its own special place in your heart and you love each one for a slightly different reason I find. Glad you had fun...glad you are home...glad you can get some rest. When do you go back to work? I am off to work tomorrow and then have EIGHT days in a row this time! UGH!!! Hugs- DianaReplyDelete
Debbie-They are all so beautiful. How blessed you are! And I know about the nap thing...I have two grandsons 4 and 2 and I can sleep standing up after I've been with them!ReplyDelete
Your grandchildren are adorable. I love the little ones, but they do wear you out! I still have an 11 year old and I fall into bed each night exhausted. (Wouldn't have anything to do with all my projects and blogging until the wee hours LOL!)ReplyDelete
These kids are so cute! I see they take after their grandma! I want some so bad- I have O.ReplyDelete
That's why the 5 cats and one dog.
I am so glad you had a great weekend, but I know what you mean about needing a nap. I had 3 little ones here in one day and it done me in.
We had a good weekend and it is so much cooler here. Only 68 for a high today and the nights are very nippy.
Just the way I like it!
We love Mario, he is a real hoot, and you never can keep up with him! What gorgeous kiddos...they look so happy too!ReplyDelete
What a great little bunch of cuties! Glad you had such a fun time visiting with them. ~ SueReplyDelete
They are absolute cuties!! Well worth the drive for sure, Debbie!! Oh... and my youngest is a Maddie, too. :)ReplyDelete
I hope you have a great week!

Oh my goodness Debbie! They are all just so darling! Definitely worth the drive! Glad you had a wonderful visit with them! Cute nicknames! Aside from calling my little darling Chunky Monkey for the time being, I (we) do not have a nickname for him yet. Time will tell.ReplyDelete
They are some real cuties! I can imagine why you do not mind the drive!ReplyDelete
Ohhhh....so darned cute, Debbie! They're just adorable! I'm glad that you all had a good time and that you're back home safe and sound in your beautiful little lake house. Miss you, girlie. Oh, and I hate to tell you, but I went to Allegan Flea Market on Sunday......hehehe! Wasn't the same without you, though....ReplyDelete
Nice posts Debbie. Your Grands are adorable and yes I can see why a 3 hr trip is so worthwhile. :)ReplyDelete
