Good Monday morning everyone~~~for Metamorphosis Monday over at Susan's Between Naps on the Porch, I thought I'd show you the wall of mirrors. I've been looking for framed ones that could be painted white.
I found some at garage sales, and the long one was found at the Doster Emporium while visiting Laurie at Heaven's Walk. It was gold...something sold at Hobby Lobby.
With a fresh coat of white paint, it changed from a dark piece, to bright and clean.I got the large mirror and one of the smaller ones from my good friend Debbie. She shops for treasures to bring home to me while in Florida.
I like the white frames against the suede wall...lightens things up.

I LOVE mirrors~I love what they do to a house~the way they reflect light and energy into any setting. I love how you have arranged them and tied them all together by painting them white. I wish I had more time to LOOK but I am out the door to work...>sigh< Thank you for the peaceful scene that will carry me through my day! Diana

ReplyDeleteAs usual, Debbie - you hit it spot on! That wall looks so bright and airy and pretty. All the shapes of the various mirrors are just beautiful together. I know it's not easy to "design" a wall of mirrors, and you did a fantastic job, sis!

I love this look, Debbie! I have been eyeing my ornate mirror and thinking it would look so much prettier with a coat or two of white paint. :)

I love your mirrors. I have that same large mirror that went my dresser when I was a little girl. It's in storage for now but I plan to get it out and paint it white one day soon. I wish that I had room somewhere in my cottage to have a wall of mirrors like this.
