Blogging friends

Tete at Beyond the Garden Gate passed this on to me....8 questions to answer....8 blogger friends to pick....and 8 of my own questions to ask them.
1. Who had the biggest impact on your life, and why?
My dad's mother. Gramma makes me think of the scripture verses in Proverbs 31:10-31...who can find a virtuous woman? I miss Gran everyday.
2. Of all the teachers you had in school, who was your favorite, and why?
Mr. Gregory. He taught ninth grade English. Mr. Gregory was strict, and always expected your best..nothing less.
3. What is your favorite bubble bath/bath salts?
Anything lavender.
4. How much time a day do you spend traveling to work, and what do you do in that time?
Ten minutes...talk to God.
5. What was the very first concert you ever went to, and would you see them again?
Bob Seiger...and YES!
6. Of all the things you have bought at rummage sales or thrift shops, which one is your favorite all time find, and why?
A vintage iron bed frame....it's beautiful!
7. If you could start all over, and be what you want to be, what profession would you pick now that you are older and wiser?
I would love to sing Christian music professionally.
8. Of all the talents that you have, which one is your all time favorite, and why?
I love singing solos at different churches. It gives me a chance to share my testimony, and sing of the glory of God.

  2. Debbie,
It was fun getting to know you better. Loved your answers. I used to sing in a youth choir at church and we traveled one summer and sang at lots of other churchs.
Thanks for picking me to play...I'll answer the questions when I post next, thinking it might be Friday cause I babysit the grandkids today. Have a great rest of the week.

  4. Good Morning, Debbie,
How nice to be included in your list of blogging friends! You are a sweetheart! I love to sing, too, but I think I would be scared to death to sing in front of a crowd, so I stick to the car!! :) You are a true Michigander, what with your seeing Bob Seiger in concert! How cool is that?! I have never seen him before, but I bet it would be awesome! Have a great day :)

(and STILL love listening to his CD's....don't laugh.) Oh, and when you come back here at the end of the month (shhhh....don't tell Diana), be prepared to sing for your supper..... :)

  6. Hello Debbie-You and that Laurie girl are trying to find out all my secrets aren't you?
I loved reading your answers and getting to know you better. You know...because of your music I THOUGHT you were a singer! No..make that I KNEW you were a singer! Are you an alto or soprano? That is truly a God-given gift and I am glad that you use it to honor Him.

And...Laurie- I saw John Denver in concert too-and I still love his music...Annie's Song always just struck home.

Debbie- I can't believe you are going back to see Laurie at the end of the month! What's up with THAT?!?!?! As SweetCheeks says..Pfffft!

Okay-Debbie-I will answer your 8 questions on Saturday if you are good! xxoo Diana

ps...Have you changed your sheets lately?>)
