Hello lovers of summer~~~
we still have a few weeks left to enjoy dinners out on the porch!
So lets sit back, relax, and enjoy.
After a whole day of clouds, this evening has turned out to be quite nice. The sun finally came out..just in time for supper.
It's a lot cooler today. Very pleasant temps as a matter of fact.
I'm hoping that this weather holds for a while. The cool nights are so much better for sleeping.
Hopefully the weather where you are is nice.
I'm sharing this with Susan, at Between Naps on the Porch for Tablescape Thursday. Check out all the other tablescapes....you won't be disappointed.
Have a wonderful summer evening!
Debbie
Debbie-Where did you EVER find those dishes? I LOVE them...and they are perfect for your house...but I think they might even look better at MY place! I love that room! Is that 3 or 4 season? It has been sticky and hot here all day. I tried opening the windows to sleep last night but gave up and turned the AC on...just too much moisture coming in off the bay.
ReplyDeleteI have 2 of the cherubs here so I have not been out and about. The post office will probably see my backside on Thursday-
Did I hear you say you are going to Lauries THIS weekend? How COULD you!?! Hope you have a wonderful time....and I think The Pearl might be my own....soon.... Diana
I just love this space and wished I had one.
ReplyDeleteThis quilt is so beautiful and I love your shell dishes and the tones in them.
We are having cooler temps here also and it's been so nice! Tomorrow night low in the lower 50's.
I am beginning to think that we need a lake house.
How fun in the coolness of the evening and sweet dreams in the night...

Beautifully dreamy-enjoy! I'm lovin' this break in the weather too:@)
ReplyDeleteI really love your mosquito netting above your couch, Debbie! What a romantic setting! We love eating out on the deck, and that's always one of the things I miss most when cold weather sets in! Great dishes, I am Loving the color! Have a wonderful night!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty spot to have supper! Love it. I hope some of the cool weather comes down here. I'm ready.
ReplyDeleteRomantic, romantic, romantic. Enough said.

Hey Sweetie! (sigh!) What beautiful pics! They look like something right out of JDA magazine, girl! I love those dishes, too -- alot! :) And I love the way you style a table. Ummmm....just don't expect anything that fancy when you get here, sis. Batman tends to just throw the food on the table like a caveman, don'tdcha know..... lol!

Hi Debbie,
ReplyDeleteI don't know how I missed your last post but I did...we swam in the river when I was little, I've always lived by water and feel very blessed to have had that in my life, so I know how you feel. Now the river flows just down the hill from us and I love it!
I love those dishes, the color is so pretty and also the quilt plus the netting...just beautiful!

I love that lantern. The dishes are very "cool" too. It's all so beautiful. What a lovely place to dine. As summer wanes, it's important to hold on to it as long as we can!

Love that white cascade over your porch couch. Lovely. Susan
ReplyDeleteThe whole setting and tablescape is simply serene. I love the blue dishes, and set next to the swing all covered in blue and white, it's downright welcoming!

ReplyDeleteIrresistible colors for your lovely tablescape. We're relishing some lovely weather here, too. Thank you for sharing your charming design. Cherry Kay

Ooh Debbie, that is my favorite set of dishes, of all time! I first saw them a couple of years ago and I had already bought a set with palm trees on them. I really wished I had waited. They make a beautiful table and certainly fit right into your decor. :)
ReplyDeleteOh Debbie,
ReplyDeleteThis is so gorgeous, I love it to bits! So dreamy, you out did yourself, I will be back to look some more and be inspired by your beautiful post. Happy night!
