Vintage vignette

Hello everyone~~~I trust your weekend went well. We had company, and spent time out on the boat...which is always a great time!
Sunday evening our dear friends came over for dinner.
The weather was good, so everything was wonderful for all of us!

I put together a little vignette in an enamel basket over the weekend. I love using vintage towels in the bathroom, so this basket worked well for displaying a few of them.
 
I also love using French soaps...especially lavender. Of course, seashells are a staple here at the lakehouse.
I'm still working on hubby to paint the bead board white in this bathroom...hasn't happened yet.
Some things take time.

    Oh , so glad you stopped by my blog. I have been wanting to pop over and I forgot the name of your blog--I follow a lot of blogs and I have been scattered brained and not doing much blogging the past few weeks. WHY? Because I have been reading books and cleaning. Something I have been kindof neglecting since I hadn't been feeling well.

    Hey Sis! Ok....so where did you get that enamel basket, girl? That's exactly what I've been searching for on eBay and Craigslist and all over the place! lol! What a beautiful vignette you created - and that hot water bottle adds a touch of whimsy to it. Love it! Hope all is well with you and the hubs....and I'm counting the days til I can hug you again! :)
